Our Story: Technology Should Be a Bridge, Not a Barrier.
For too long, the digital revolution in African agriculture has bypassed its most critical participants: the women who grow and sell our food. We saw a glaring contradiction , which are innovative apps being built for a population that couldn’t read them.
While others saw illiteracy as a problem, we saw it as our purpose.Sambal AgroConnect was founded on a simple, radical idea: what if we built technology that listened instead of asking users to read? What if we could give a woman like Amina the power of an ecommerce shop, inventory management, and cold storage using nothing but her voice in her own language?
That ‘what if’ is now our reality.
